This helps your cities HUB-IN team to understand how communities and visitors interact with our historic urban area and to support legacy planning for the project. Here the example from Belfast “Your say” – The Belfast HUB-IN team undertook a range of community surveys to inform and shape Belfast HUB-IN actions and to help determine how effective the projects have been and what types of projects could be supported in the future

How can it help?
This will be useful for:
- Community surveys can identify how communities and visitor interact with the HUA
- Identifies openness of communities to be involved in HUB-IN Actions
- Identifies a sense of belonging to the HUA
- Measures the impact of HUB-IN actions on citizens and visitors
How do we use it?
The survey was published on Belfast City Council’s public survey platform.
The survey was circulated to citizens registered to the platform.
It was also circulated to communities and stakeholders.
In total over 700 people responded to the survey.

- Ensure you are involving diverse communities, stakeholders and an appropriate spectrum of stakeholder groups / categories. Consult Stakeholder map 1 & 2
- Remember that communities and stakeholders’ time is precious; use it wisely and strategically. And so, DO NOT over-outreach!
