Four creative projects will promote Slovenska Bristrica’s cultural heritage in a contemporary way
Four exceptional projects won the call for innovative services and products (accelerator open call) launched by Slovenska Bristrica’s HUB-IN last November. The chosen initiatives embrace a diverse range of creative endeavours, showcasing the richness of talent within the Slovenian community. Here they are:
1. Architectural installation:
The first project promises to redefine spaces and captivate imaginations. The authors will design a pavilion made of prefabricated scrap aluminium, promising a distinctive and visionary addition.
2. Cultural heritage illustrations:
Delving into the beauty of the city’s local intangible cultural heritage, the second project involves creating captivating illustrations that celebrate and preserve the essence of the local cultural identity.
3. Recycled aluminium jewellery:
Embracing sustainability, the third project introduces recycled aluminium jewellery workshops. These workshops not only promote eco-friendly practices but also provide a platform for artistic expression through wearable art, utilizing local materials.
4. Historical house facade replicas:
Preserving the charm of the past, the fourth project embarks on creating replicas of the facades of Slovenska Bistrica’s most significant historical houses. These replicas, designed as tea-light holders, offer a unique way to showcase our architectural heritage in a contemporary way.
The awarded projects exemplify innovation, creativity, and a commitment to Slovenska Bristica’s cultural roots. The HUB-IN team looks forward to witnessing the unique contributions each project will make in promoting cultural heritage.
