Four innovative projects prove how creative ideas can foster entrepreneurship and raise awareness of Slovenska Bristica’s cultural heritage
On 23 May, the final event of the Crouzet Creative Incubator showcased the four awarded projects. They all celebrate Slovenian creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Thanks to the programme, participants gained new knowledge, forged new connections, and accessed new opportunities to present and sell their products. Additionally, one of the entrepreneurs secured office space in the Crouzet HUB for her association.
Let’s have a closer look at these innovative projects!
Recycled Aluminium Jewellery Workshops – Danuška Hauptman
This project introduces recycled aluminium jewellery workshops. These workshops promote eco-friendly practices and provide a platform for artistic expression through wearable art, utilising materials sourced from the local environment.
Historical House Facade Replicas – Natalija Sinkovič
This project creates clay replicas of the facades of Slovenska Bistrica’s most significant historical houses. Designed as tea-light holders, these replicas offer a unique way to showcase our architectural heritage within a contemporary context.
Intangible Cultural Heritage Illustrations – Hana Nekrep
This project involves creating captivating illustrations that celebrate and preserve the essence of our local cultural identity.
Prefabricated Scrap Aluminium Pavilion – Jure Kozmus, Hana Nekrep
This project focuses on developing a prefabricated scrap aluminium pavilion, aiming to raise public awareness about shared urban spaces often overlooked in smaller towns. By connecting the medieval core with the aluminium industry, it fosters a dialogue between cultural heritage and modern technology.
This event significantly increased awareness of local creators in the creative and entrepreneurial sectors and the cultural heritage of Slovenska Bistrica. It also offered visitors a first glimpse into the Crouzet space. Starting from autumn 2024, people can apply for a desk in the Crouzet co-working space.
