Six innovative projects have been awarded in the context of this new initiative by Slovenska Bistrica’s HUB-IN
Following the success of the first round, Slovenska Bistrica’s HUB-IN has launched the second round of the Accelerator Crouzator, aimed at empowering local artists, entrepreneurs, and artisans in the development of innovative products and services.
Helping local artists and entrepreneurs to grow and flourish
The second call for applications, published in July 2024, attracted 13 submissions, out of which 6 standout projects were selected. The chosen initiatives represent a blend of creativity, heritage, and entrepreneurship:
- A children’s game inspired by local cultural heritage
- The “White Lady” artistic table, an homage to a local mythological figure, crafted using a unique fire-portrait technique
- A natural skin and scalp serum made from locally harvested spruce tops
- A vending machine offering stories that celebrate local traditions
- A confection, crafted from local ingredients, with traditional techniques, incorporating elements of local culture
- Unique embroidered products featuring the mythical image of the “White Lady.”
The selected participants will receive personal mentorship, attend collaborative workshops, and benefit from financial support provided by the Municipality. The product development phase will run from October 2024 until January 2025, culminating in a final showcase event in February 2025 where the newly developed products will be unveiled to the public.
The first call ended in April 2024 with widespread participant satisfaction. In fact, several of the inaugural projects have already made their way into local and national markets.
