The innovative GeoTool, an online Georeferenced knowledge center for the HUB-IN cities, is the space gathering these engaging stories. Among many things, you’ll learn how:
- Belfast used cutting-edge technology like 3D film, AI, VR and AR to bring its Maritime Mile heritage to life;
- Brașov used design kits and mentorship to engage high school students to revitalise its public spaces through tactical urbanism techniques;
- Genova involved shopkeepers of the Historical Urban Area, from a flower shop to a laundry, to temporarily host some artisans coming from outside Genova;
- Grand Angoulême created a new itinerant meeting and network of creators, through walking Caravans of the Metropolitan Trail;
- Lisbon unveiled and drew attention to a unique feature of the local heritage through a pop-up event dedicated to ceramics;
- Nicosia organised immersive Heritage Walks, conducted by passionate local experts, for both residents and visitors;
- Slovenska Bistrica developed a vibrant co-working space furnished with reused or repurposed materials;
- Utrecht launched an art programme to produce artistic works and services that bridge the gap between the district’s historical legacy and its modern identity.
