Join us at the New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels from 9 to 13 April
We know that the enormous potential of our cities is untapped because of the abandonment and neglect suffered by many areas that affect local communities. This is why the HUB-IN project is developing and testing a model to regenerate historic urban areas using their cultural heritage assets to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.
From 9 to 13 April, join us at the New European Bauhaus Festival (NEB) in Brussels and embark on an amazing journey through our pilot cities and their innovative HUBs! Play with us, find out more about how Lisbon, Genoa, Slovenska Bistrica, Grand Angouleme, Belfast, Brasov, Nicosia, and Utrecht are regenerating their HUA and use all your 5 senses to metaphorically travel to our cities. In a few words: stop by, explore, learn and be inspired!
NEB 2024: a festival for artistes and changemakers
This unique Festival – organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the Belgian Presidency – combines music and artistic performances with exhibitions of innovative projects and panel discussions on subjects of the future!
The NEB Festival aims to apply the Green Deal principles to our daily lives and cities to build together a green and inclusive future that is beautiful for our eyes, minds, and souls. It inspires a movement to facilitate and steer the transformation of our societies along three inseparable values:
Sustainability, from climate goals to circularity, zero pollution, and biodiversity
Aesthetics, quality of experience and style beyond functionality
Inclusion, from valuing diversity to securing accessibility and affordability
It promises to be a melting pot of innovation, creativity and sustainability, and we’re honoured to be part of it for the second time! The NEB Festival will take place in the wonderful Parc du Cinquantenaire and the Arts & History Museum in the EU capital. Entrance is free and open to everybody.
