Futura: transforming Genova’s historic center through street art

By 20 November, street artists and students can apply to revitalise the Caruggi area

Futura is a street art project developed within HUB-IN with the aim of bringing out Genova’s historic center’s peculiarities, enhance public space, foster interaction with the territory, and create true thematic artistic paths.

Genova’s HUB-IN is situated in the Caruggi area, with Futura particularly involving the district of Prè. 60 shop shutters (or similar) have been selected to be the canvas for the awarded artists. Between 30 November and 25 January, street artists will have the chance to use their art to transform and revitalize these historic streets. In addition, 6 young students will also be selected to assist artists.

Applications can be submitted by 20 November.
